“See Naples and then die.”

"See Naples and then die" is the famous affirmation attributed to the German writer Goethe. Explaining its meaning is simple: the city is so beautiful that after you seeing it, you could just die.

Naples has a thousand souls, is colourful, joyful; it is a place where tradition and innovation meet to give the perfect mix to tourists.

Every detail of its urban conformation mirrors its long historical tradition. From the downtown streets to the great monuments, Naples has a strong and fascinating identity. A tourist arriving in this city is spoilt for choice with regards to places to visit. Starting from the Spaccanapoli district in the historic centre, you can admire the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the monastery and church of Santa Chiara and the Cappella Sansevero. Not to be missed is a stroll along Via San Gregorio Armeno, one of the most characteristic streets of Neapolitan Christmas traditions. Finally, a visit to the Maschio Angioino (Castel Nuovo) is a must.

Mention is to be made of the superb Neapolitan cuisine. From pizza to babà, even your palate will fall in love with Naples.
