From the 1st of September Green Pass will be required for boarding on Milazzo-Aeolian-Naples and Salerno-Messina inter-regional lines

Caronte & Tourist Group informs that according to the Italian Government dispositions (decree n.111, 6th of August 2021), from the 1st of September all the passengers have to show the EU digital Covid certificate/Green Pass to embark on the interregional shipping lines of the company, with the exception of maritime connections in the Strait of Messina.

Specifically, Green Pass will be required for passengers from 12 years of age who will travel on the following lines:

Milazzo - Aeolian Islands - Naples:

- Passengers departing from Milazzo with arrival in Naples;

- Passengers departing from the Aeolian Islands arriving in Naples;

- Passengers departing from Naples with arrival in the Aeolian Islands;

- Passengers departing from Naples with arrival in Milazzo.

Salerno - Messina:

- Passengers departing from Salerno with arrival in Messina;

- Passengers departing from Messina with arrival in Salerno.

Exclusively for these lines, passengers have to go to the ticket office before boarding and also have to exhibit a valid EU digital covid certificate during the check-in. We also inform you that even for passengers who have decided to board using the Self Check-In service through the Caronte & Tourist app, it will be necessary to go to the ticket office before boarding to show the Green Pass for all passengers who will travel.

We also inform you that in the absence of green certification, boarding will be refused.
