Traghetti Card

The Traghetti Card is a virtual fidelity card that guarantees the following tariff concessions for the purchase of tickets valid for the Siremar lines effectuated by ferries.

It arose from the Company having detected a need to create a concession rate for all commuters travelling between the Isole Minori, with the main aim of making Sicily even more united with its neighbouring islands.

The Traghetti Card is addressed to the following categories of customers:

• Commuting workers residing in Sicily;
• Customers residing in Sicily who own second houses located in the Sicilian Isole Minori (the card can also be issued to each member of the nuclear family not above the 1° degree of kinship);
• Natives of the Sicilian Isole Minori not residing in the islands (the card can also be issued to each member of the nuclear family not above the 1° degree of kinship).

The discounts available with the Traghetti Card are applied solely to the occupancy of the passenger and not to the fare of the accompanying vehicles.

PLEASE NOTE

• The TC is personal, is not transferable and is valid only if accompanied by an identification document;
• The TC can only be issued for job assignments not less than 10 (ten) days;
• The validity of the TC will be established in relation to the documentation produced by the applicant, whilst the period of validity may not exceed 1 year;
• The TC can only be used daily for the purchase of up to 1 return ticket;
• The TC does not include any costs for the issue and/or activation;
• Issuing/Renewing the TC occurs at most within five (5) working days;
• The TC guarantees a discount of 60% on deck positions and of 10% on seats and cabins (accompanying vehicles are not included);
• The TC is a virtual card. Once the card is generated, the card's code will be communicated to the holder who will be able to communicate it to the ticket office and/or to our customer service +39 090 5737 at the time of purchasing the ticket.

How to Apply

The Traghetti Card can be requested from any ticket office or in the following ways:

The documentation to be submitted with the request for a Traghetti Card differs according to the category the passenger belongs to and is specified below.

Commuting workers residing in Sicily

• Presentation of the form completed in all its parts;
• Work certificate issued by the company or entity attesting to the carrying out of work and the place and duration of the assignment for which use of the concession is required;
• Photocopy of registration at the Registry/Chamber of Commerce;
• Photocopy of a valid identification document.

Customers residing in Sicily, owners of second houses located in the Sicilian Isole Minori

• Presentation of the form completed in all its parts;
• Photocopy of a valid identification document
• Copy of the IMU tax payment - addressed to the owner who ask for the Traghetti Card - to the Municipality of the island where the house is located;
• Copy of the TARI tax payment - addressed to the owner who ask for the Traghetti Card - to the Municipality of the island where the house is located;
• Substitutive self-certification of the Family Status;

Natives of the Sicilian Isole Minori not residing in the islands

• Presentation of the form completed in all its parts;
• Photocopy of a valid identity document of the applicant and of the members of the nuclear family of not above the 1° degree of kinship;
• Substitutive self-certification of the Family Status.
