What are the benefits of night tickets and under what conditions are they available?

Night tickets are exclusively available for Cars, Motorcycles, Trailers, Campers, and Buses, and are offered at a discounted rate compared to standard tickets, as they are valid only within a specific time slot during which ferry services operate with reduced frequency.

Night tickets can be purchased at any time but can only be used to travel across the Strait of Messina between 10:00 PM and 04:00 AM, both for outbound and return journeys.

Will night tickets always be available?

The purchase of a night ticket is subject to the condition that the journey must take place entirely within the designated night-time validity period.

Are night tickets available through Electronic Toll Lanes (Telepass)?

Yes, night tickets are also available via electronic toll lanes (Telepass, UnipolMove). In this case, the system will automatically determine the appropriate ticket type (standard or night) based on the time of passage through the lane. The following rules apply:

• If both the outbound and return trips occur within the night-time slot (10:00 PM - 04:00 AM), the discounted night fare will be applied to both journeys.
• If the outbound trip occurs during standard hours, the return ticket will also be considered standard, regardless of the actual return time.
• If the outbound trip is within the night-time slot but the return trip occurs during standard hours, the system will initially apply the discounted fare but will later revoke the discount and apply the standard fare to the return ticket.

Are night tickets eligible for the Navigo Per Te program?

Night tickets are included in the Navigo Per Te loyalty program, both for mileage accumulation and for calculating progressive discounts.

However, they cannot be purchased using Navigo Per Te miles, which remain valid for the purchase of all other catalog products.
